Tim and Abi – No. 38 The Park wedding

Abi would be first to admit that her planning her No. 38 The Park wedding wasn’t the smoothest of tasks. Not only was she pregnant and working with a rather tight timeframe. There was the small matter of choosing a venue when you’re such a connoisseur of interior design and fine hotels. Then finally getting a date that suits all your favoured suppliers. Heck.

Cheltenham wedding.

No. 38 The Park is an absolute gem. For Tim and Abi’s intimate wedding it was perfection. The day started with dappled light streaming through those Georgian windows. That room is a dream for a photographer to work in.

Rose was keeping an eye on what I was up to from her bubble-filled bath. Very cute. Rose kind of stole the show and provided much entertainment throughout the day.

Abi’s flowers arrived and what show stoppers they were. All these stunning details were coming together now.

Smaller weddings have a real sense of involvement. Everyone in that ceremony room was familiar and I loved that. After a very laid back ‘official’ part to day it was time for the socialising. Some confetti was thrown, party poppers made a little lad cry and everyone drank merrily. Fairly standard stuff.

Tim is one of my favourite Grooms, if that’s an acceptable thing to say!? A great sense of humour and a passion for turning his and Abi’s portraits into comedy. These two together are a hoot.

The evening was wrapped up perfectly with some sparklers and arm wrestling (that was only the little lads). A perfect finish.
