Max and Melissa – Stubton Hall wedding
Max and Melissa’s Stubton Hall wedding is a beauty. Stubton Hall wedding photography is always a highlight for me. Being a Lincolnshire wedding photographer its lovely having a venue such as this locally.
When I think of Stubton I think of that staircase and the White room. Max and Melissa used the place to its full effect. Melissa’s morning prep began bathed in that Georgian window light. Very chilled, and I didn’t expect anything less. She’s as cool as a cucumber.
Max, like a lot of grooms wasn’t that keen on photos. I think I managed to change his views on that by the end of the day though.
The Ceremony
The ceremony was led by a family friend. A nice touch and good of the registrars to allow. The way these two looked at each other when they met at the end of the aisle was lovely. This is why I do this job, it’s beautiful seeing interaction and love between people.
Post ceremony and after a showering of confetti we did some family pics. George Simpson serenaded us all on the terrace. It’s the time to get the more natural shots too. Like when one of the little ones steals a relatives crutch to hit a football around with. See if you can spot that.
Evening Celebrations
The whole day was really nice and relaxed. Before the chaos of the party we did some sparklers. Then onto the humorous dancing shots. On a side note, the evening is when you get those random pics. I guess it’s a combination of guests drinking all day and people getting comfortable with me being there. I love the silliness.
