Owen and Amanda – Pumping House wedding
Owen and Amanda’s wedding marked my first time being The Pumping house wedding photographer. What a day too. The winter light made it challenging yet rewarding.
I covered both bridal and groom preparations. This venue is stunning and such lovely accommodation within it- a dream to work at. As Amanda was getting the final bits and pieces together I popped through to see Owen and his groomsmen. It all went swimmingly. Just look at their attire. I’m a sucker for a velvet jacket! Thats not to mention how amazing Amanda’s sequin number was too. These two were very much themselves. No traditional wedding here thank you.
Ollerton pumping house has so much scope for beautiful images, the ceremony and reception rooms are only a small part of what can be used. We made full use of the grounds. Despite only having 40mins of daylight after the ceremony (admittedly I was a little worried about this). We managed everything. All the family pictures, candids of guests and a trip out with Owen and Amanda themselves. On a side note- how much confetti!? It was like a blizzard of the stuff.
The whole day was packed with personality, some wonderful characters and an overwhelming sense of fun. These two have the most wonderful family and friends. What a beautiful atmosphere. I can only hope that comes across in the pictures.
I am looking forward to my next time being a Pumping house wedding photographer. If you’re getting married at The pumping house I would love to hear from you here.
