My APPROACH. Taking THE PICtures.
Most importantly of all I’ll never make you run away from a t-rex, suggest all the groomsmen hold the bride across their arms and you’ll never hear me say “cheese”.
I photograph in an unobtrusive and friendly way. I love to connect with people and finding the uniqueness in everyone is what drives my creativity. I’m definitely more of an observational photographer, I shoot what I see, but I also think its important to take some time for portraits of you as a couple- we can be creative and fun with these or keep them as relaxed as you like.
This is one of the most important days of your lives and everything has to be just right. Im always willing to get involved with all your ideas, with a few giggles along the way.

KNOWING WHAT YOU’RE IN FOR.
Theres certainly plenty of choice when choosing a photographer. Theres so many different styles. The chances are you like my pictures if you’ve arrived here. Thats always a good start. Thats the final product, what about how they are created? Well this is time for a run down of that very approach.
My heart is in documenting the beautiful moments, the golden memories that pass in a split second. Not only that but capturing them in a way that doesn’t look like just anyone could’ve winged it on an iPhone. I love finding the little details that make you and your guests individuals. When you look at your wedding images I want you to feel the personalities shining through.
Im going to be vocal when needed. The chances are you’re going to have some form of formal family group photos. Even if you’re both against them it’s almost inevitable that someone is going to ask. I’m more than happy to help you plan these in a way that causes as little disruption as possible. After all it’s a wedding not a photoshoot.
You don’t need to be leaving your wedding for an hour of couples pictures. In the 100’s of weddings I’ve photographed i’ve got this down to a tea. We can get some beautifully creative photos with you both at different intervals throughout the day. A few mins here, a few mins there and before you know it you have some belters. All in different light and maybe even different attire (who am I to stand in the way of an outfit change).
The aesthetic is all about finding the best light. Im always hunting for that extra bit of magic to make your pictures unique. Most of the work is done in camera. The edits/filter/preset whatever you want to call them are just used to enhance what’s already there. I keep the colours close to true life, a slight desaturation and a bit more warmth is the way.
Above all else it’s a trust between us all that leads to the best pictures. You’re entrusting me with capturing your day. A day that you will have spent countless hours pondering over. For me to make the best work for you I ask that you just be the best versions of yourselves. Relax and have fun, don’t let nerves stop you from truly living it. Im going to encourage you make the most of everything.
