Tom and Francesca – Grays Court wedding
Im calling this a Gray’s Court wedding. It’s not 100% fact though. The ceremony was at York registry office, the wedding breakfast and speeches at Grays Court and the evening celebrations/partying were at The De Grey Rooms. A tour of York. (I love York).
Tom and Frankie are absolutely top people. You couldn’t meet two more characterful, friendly and just darn right welcoming souls. Their day was non-traditional and such a pleasure to document. I felt an incredible sense of involvement and for that I’m so grateful. It wasn’t solely about Tom and Frankie either. They made that clear from the affection and friendliness they showed to their nearest and dearest. I hope I captured these feels. This was a memorable New Years eve, thats for sure.
They got ready together before meeting up with most of their guests to board a rather lovely vintage bus to get across to the ceremony. The food had the same vibe, relaxed dining with speeches by candlelight being enjoyed by all as they lounged after.
The evening brought a few more friendly faces and a new venue. The De Grey Rooms. The Ballroom was the perfect juxtaposition to the cosy spaces from earlier on. It really set the scene for an evening of alcohol-fuelled tales, questionable dance moves and for me an introduction to Brew York craft beer.
A crisp New Years Eve with a good bunch of people. Check out their whole story below.
If you’re planning a Grays Court wedding, a De Grey rooms wedding or planning on using another York venue I would love to hear from you here.
