George and Laura’s Saxby Lincolnshire Wedding
George and Laura’s plans for a village wedding in Saxby All Saints, Lincolnshire were so very them. Saxby church and Saxby hall are only a few minutes from their front door, it was all very personal. This made for some lovely Lincolnshire wedding photography.
They went with their own plans to use the grounds of the Hall to host a marquee for their celebrations or as George quite beautifully put it ‘a pi** up in a tent’. That alone should give you an insight into the fun nature of these two.
With the church being so close to the hall and of course the weather being so perfect it was a brilliant touch to have all the guests meandering through the village. George and Laura lead the way, bouquet aloft. That was before she herself became aloft as George picked her up and twirled her around. These wonderful displays of love and affection were scattered abundantly throughout the wedding.
The marquee was decorated with elements of their personalities, the centre pieces and beautifully crafted details all formed a great location for the food and festivities. So the speeches began. There were some heartfelt words until of course George got his inevitable grilling from the best man. There were some hilarious tales of their times at university, such characters. Im sure you will notice the Gammons served to each table, they are hard to miss! I also had the pleasure of sampling some of the food and it was delicious.
George and Laura’s wedding ran flawlessly from start to finish. I feel a great deal of this is down to them having a wedding planner for their day, so heres a special shout out to Julie of Weddings by Julie.
I hope you enjoy the photographs as much as I enjoyed the wedding itself. It was a real pleasure to be a part of.
