Danny and Samantha’s Healing Manor Wedding

With the weather forecast saying horrible things like ‘rain and gail force winds’ followed by ‘all day’ its usually enough to dampen spirits. But what do the forecasters know (ok it rained for a while but we had some breaks). Being Danny and Sam’s Healing Manor wedding photographer looked as if it could be challenging, but who better to be photographing than these two, well three when you count little Matilda- who could forget her. Such a lovely family, Danny and Sam have a really tangible bond between them.

Packed with love and laughter, it was truly a memorable day. The laughter was probably more often than not provided by innocent slip ups regarding other family members. A personal favourite was Danny paying respects to a grandparent whom was still alive…and very much present at the wedding. Then of course Matilda roaming free during the ceremony, centre stage, mid aisle with a huge grin.

It just goes to show that even with rain on your wedding day we can still get creative and make beautiful images. We did the majority of the group shots indoors in the Manor’s beautiful barn. Thankfully Danny and Sam were more than up for braving the elements for their creative shots. They made that brolly look good!
