Charlie and Jessica – Hazel Gap Barn wedding
It’s a Hazel Gap Barn wedding on the blog today. Charlie and Jessica obviously have great taste. Just check out the visual treats that follow.
Family is important to these two. Jess’ dads reaction to seeing her in her dress was a real moment to witness. Preparations were at the beautiful Thoresby Hall. The bustle of Jess’ family and six bridesmaids made it fly by. Champagne was flowing, even on the carpet- see picture.

Hazel Gap looks the part doesn’t it. Cripps do a good job with their venues. I noticed the groomsmen. I think Charlie saw Jess’ 6 Bridesmaids and raised her to 7 groomsmen. Thats testament to how popular these two are amongst their nearest and dearest.
The ceremony managed to feel intimate and special despite there being a fair few guests there. Right before Jess came in there’s that shot of Charlie’s best man giving him a reassuring pat on the back. Upon her arrival at the front there were some strong emotions on display. Right through to the happiness on everyones faces as they have their first kiss. Im pretty sure these two won my ‘most animated walk back down the aisle’ award of 2019. It’s a prestigious award is that.
Before the mingling of guests got under way some confetti was thrown and the two newly weds disappeared off for a car ride. When you get the weather summer weddings are lovely. Not a single person was indoors, the courtyard was packed. That day even had a sunset. It seemed like the ideal excuse for an evening stroll post meal and speeches.
The evening celebrations brought some live music and livelier dance moves. The first dance kicked things off with a sax player to follow. The final part of the evening was sparklers. Incase you were wondering about those final few images…Thats what happens when you pick up a bunch of sparklers and light them all together. I wouldn’t advise it yet I couldn’t look away!
If you’re planning a Hazel Gap Barn wedding I would love to hear from you here.
