Barry and Abigail’s – Oulton Hall wedding

Barry and Abigail’s special day was my first time being an Oulton Hall wedding photographer. Oulton Hall is such a grand venue with some beautiful period features. When I first arrived at the Hall I made my way up to the see Abi and her bridesmaids, everyone was in such great spirits and preparations were well under way. The light and the lovely areas of the building made working here so rewarding.

The ceremony itself was at Rothwell’s Holy Trinity church. I arrived earlier to meet Barry and the groomsmen and capture the guests arriving. I loved the reactions as these two saw each other at the end of the aisle. After the church we headed out for a flurry of confetti before jumping back in the wedding car. With the church being so close to Oulton it meant everyone was able to carry on the celebrations right after.

These two were such naturals in front of the camera, so as we took a walk in the fading sun we got so many lovely images of them. Barry and Abi rounded their special day off with a sparkler exit.
