Mark, Hayley and Stan’s Peak District Family shoot

What an adventure and a windy one at that! We went to Castleton for Mark, Hayley and Stan’s little family shoot. Being a Peak District photographer all the time would be amazing…just look at that landscape. Upon arriving at Speedwell Cavern it was clear the shoot was going to be a windy one. Parts of the valley were so windy we couldn’t hear anything but the sheer gail blowing us over. So we scrapped the shots with the sheep who didn’t seem to mind the weather and headed up one of the hills. This wasn’t exactly Stan’s cup of tea either (who can blame him) so my assistant sat with Stan whilst I took some couple shots of Hayley and Mark.

We then took a drive to Blue John cavern where it wasn’t quite as windy and got some family shots. Stan got the chance to play with a few toys (and an unoccupied snail shell he found). Inevitably myself and Mark finished the shoot off by boring Hayley with car talk.
